The Crazy Tuna Bar & Grille will be shuttering its doors this weekend for good, much to the dismay of many of its patrons.
According to the owners, the last day of operations for the waterfront bar will be on Saturday, Oct. 19.
"It is with a very heavy heavy heart that we made a very difficult decision to close The Crazy Tuna," the posted on social media.
"We first want to thank all the current and previous staff that has made The Crazy Tuna such a special place for many years."
No reason for the closure was provided, with the owners stating, "there is never just one reason when these decisions are made."
"Some of our most memorable shows over these past 10 years have been at The Tuna and we can't thank you enough for not only supporting us but for supporting local music in general," Dean Crawford wrote. "May God bless each and everyone of y'all."
The Hëdrush Band of Baltimore echoed that sentiment, adding: "We are forever grateful for you having us play there and for all you’ve done to help build up a phenomenal local music community."
According to the owners, they also have "some amazing that is currently looking to replace this job and would be an asset to any company."
"Thank you for fond memories thank you for having such an amazing great food good times good music," one regular patron posted. "You are truly truly gonna be missed.
"I am so so sad to see you close your doors, but I’m so happy that I got to be such a big part of that place while you were open."
